From Airport to Taitung
- Taoyuan Airport (take Airport MRT or bus) → Taipei Main Station (take the train) → Taitung Railway Station （3.5-5hrs depending on train type）
- Taipei Songshan Airport (take Taipei Metro) → Taipei Main Station (take the train) → Taitung Railway Station （3.5-5hrs depending on train type）
- Kaohsiung International Airport (take Kaohsiung Metro) → Kaohsiung Railway Station (take the train) → Taitung Railway Station / 3hrs
From Airport to Kaohsiung
- Songshan Airport (take Taipei Metro) → Taipei Main Station (take the train) → Qiaotou Railway Station
- Songshan Airport (take Taipei Metro) → Taipei Main Station (take High Speed Rail) → Zuoying HSR Station (take the train) → Qiaotou Railway Station
- Taoyuan Airport (take Airport MRT) → Taoyuan HSR Station (take High Speed Rail) → Zuoying HSR Station (take the train) → Qiaotou Railway Station
